DU SANG SUR LES MAINS

Du Sang Sur Les Mains is a four-part documentary that recounts what became one of the worst medical scandals in the country. More than 1000 Canadians contracted HIV in the 1980s due to contaminated blood transfusions.

I participated in this project as a visual effects artist, creating the documentary's introduction and numerous transition effects.

My concept was based on the use of fake blood abstractly mixed with black liquid representing contaminated blood. The initial shots illustrated the medical laboratory environment, which quickly transforms into an abstract world as the contaminated blood mixes with the clean blood.
